Motion Graphics + Animation / University / Spring 2021

Role: 3D Modeler and Animator

I created a short animation to showcase the simple task of trying to find your hotel and along the way something unexpected happens. Throughout this project, I learned software like Cinema 4D and Redshift and new workflows for hard-body 3D animation in a new render engine. The car designs were inspired by the work of CandyLab Toys and the Hotel design was inspired by the historic, Strater Hotel in Durango, Colorado.

Special thanks to Andy Needham, Michael Kim, Danny ChoTwisterelli, and School of Motion for their help and tutorials.
